These loads cut required lead time by 17-20%. In addition, their high speed nickel plated shot packs quite a punch on target. Yes, they do recoil quite a bit more than standard dove and quail loads (approx. 25% more) and their muzzle blast is pretty terrific, but if you do your part, they will consistently whack crossing doves at 50+ yards. Oh yes, they are also perfect for those long range, windy day clays. For those who still want a better handicap on crossing shots, we also produce a specialized high speed mixed shot size load (#4002-#4009). Since various shot sizes will slow at different rates, the shot string in these loads become elongated, thus making it easier to connect on a crossing target at range.

They start with swaged hard, magnum, lead shot, that is completely contained in a specially designed long range shot cup. Between the pellets is a specially designed buffer, just for large shot, to ensure pellet roundness as they leave the barrel. This lethal mix is pushed down the barrel by specially picked slow burning propellants for optimal velocity. The net result........power down range.
